8BitDo, known for its accessories and controllers, has released a keyboard and mouse in the style of the original Xbox. The devices were developed in collaboration with Microsoft — under the company's official license. The Retro R8 Mouse (Xbox Edition) is equipped with a PAW 3395 sensor (up to 26,000 DPI) and Kailh Sword GM X microswitches — designed for 100 million clicks. There are two programmable buttons on each side of the device. The mouse comes with a charging dock. The declared battery life in Bluetooth mode is 100 hours. Cost — $60 (~23,600 AMD). The Retro 87 Mechanical Keyboard (Xbox Edition) has received several additional programmable keys, including for working with the Xbox app.
The accessory supports eight RGB backlight modes. The kit includes two "super buttons" to which you can assign macros and other functions. The declared battery life is 200 hours, and the cost is $ 120 (~ 47,250 AMD).
Pre-order is available on the 8BitDo website and on Amazon. The company will start sending accessories to customers on January 16, 2025.
