The VideoCardz portal has published details about the unannounced Radeon RX 9070 GRE graphics card — a new model in the line of graphics solutions from AMD, which should take an intermediate position between the senior and junior cards of the RX 9000 series.

What is known about the Radeon RX 9070 GRE

According to the leak, the RX 9070 GRE will be based on the Navi 48 chip and will receive the following specifications:

• Stream processors: 3072
• Base frequency: about 2.79 GHz
• Overclocked versions (OC): up to 3.0 GHz
• Memory bus: 192-bit (versus 256 bits the original RX 9070)
• Video memory capacity: 12 GB GDDR6, speed - 18 Gbps

Such a reduction compared to the original RX 9070 (primarily in terms of bus and memory) suggests that the GRE version will be more affordable, but will retain the current RDNA 4 architecture.
