Google Releases Android 16 Beta 2. What's New?

Google has started rolling out the second public beta version of Android 16.

Change log:

• Interface background: the system settings background with the night theme enabled is now shaded in a deeper color.
• In "Settings" → "System" → "Gestures", a new option has been added to configure the behavior of a double press on the power button. In addition to opening the camera, this action can now be assigned to open the "Wallet" app.
• A new widget has been added for easier switching between Android users.
• In "Settings" → "System" → "Languages", new sections have been added to choose the country and default measurement system. These data can be used by apps.
• Numerous changes for app developers.

• Pixel 6, 6 Pro, 6a, 7, 7 Pro, 7a, Tablet, Fold, 8, 8 Pro, 8a, 9, 9 Pro, 9 Pro XL, and 9 Pro Fold.
