Work on Sherlock Holmes 3 continues — the film has received a new script

This was revealed by Jude Law, who played Dr. Watson in the first two parts of the series. According to him, a new script for the third film has already been written, but he has not read it yet.

“There is a huge desire to do [the third film]. And we all have a huge desire to do the film in the right way. The one thing I have taken away from both of these films is my friendship with Robert and his wife Susan, they mean a lot to me. I hope we will still do it,” — Jude Law.

There are no other details about the sequel yet. The first plans for the third part of Sherlock Holmes with Robert Downey Jr. appeared back in 2011.
