Sunglasses with photo filters!

Lombell produces unique sunglasses that use technology from the world of photography. They use variable neutral density (ND) filters as lenses, which are commonly used by photographers to control exposure.

The principle of operation of the glasses is ingeniously simple. Each lens consists of two polarized glasses located one behind the other. Darkening is adjusted by simply rotating the front glass relative to the back. There are special marks on the frame that help set the same level of darkening for both lenses.

Unlike photochromic lenses, which darken automatically but slowly, these glasses allow you to instantly adjust the level of protection. This is especially true when driving, when photochromic lenses do not darken due to the UV protection of the windshield. And, of course, they look gorgeous! The cost of the new product is $90 (~35,000 AMD) for the regular version and $100 (~39,000 AMD) for the version with diopters.
